Honestly? Yeah. It is really sweet. It feels good when I break into some criminal shithole, and there are kids there, and I can sense their heartbeats calm down when they see me. They trust I'll get them out of there. It's humbling to go into a hospital where kids are fighting for their lives and have just being there mean something to them. They're doing braver work than I've had to, you know? I tell them that it's a privilege they let me hang out, not the opposite.
Now I'm just disappointed I can't see them. Maybe Eleanor will describe them to me, when I see her again.
