It's definitely an art unto itself. Everyone probably has slightly different needs with their suits, too. Mine I just need to be able to move easily and not die when getting shot or stabbed. Which I guess isn't easy, but they have gotten better over the years. Having a suit that's easy to pee in is also nice. Still working on making it not so cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

The not easily dying and staying flexible parts are the most important though, so. I can't complain.

What color scheme would you want if you did make a suit?

I’d prefer if you didn’t die, so glad you have the suit. I don’t know, maybe something blue? If I could train my magic I would probably just need to have some basic armor

Blue is a good color. This isn't shitting on you since I wear red, but there is just something about vigilantes and primary colors I swear. I guess we like to stand out.

being distinctive can also be helpful in having people recognise that you’re there to help. Especially if you get a reputation for saving lives

I guess it says something that people see a guy dressed as the devil and find comfort in it.

maybe everyone just thinks that you look like someone who gives good hugs. A friendly sort of vibe.

I can't say I've ever had any criminals say that to me. I try not to scare kids or people like that, though.

I'm sure one or two have underestimated me, at least. Which I don't mind. Being the underdog has its advantages.

I’m sure some have. But yeah, it would be good to be underestimated. I get that sometimes as a woman, being able to use it; that’s a skill

I can imagine. Most of my underestimation comes from the visual impairment, but also socio-economic. Little homegrown firm started by a nobody that goes up against corporate America, things like that.

you are genuinely the most lovely underdog. I’m sure being blind ends up being a huge advantage in being underestimated. You move like you see things crystal clear

I can sense things that other blind people can't, so I do get an advantage. I am visually impaired, though. That part is true.

I wouldn't say easy, no. I guess we all have our difficulties to overcome, don't we?

[In the weeks they've gotten to know one another, he's never met Stella outside of his Daredevil costume. It was a slow process to reach this point. To move past just removing his helmet. People at Josie's knew his real name. Josie's though was also their homebase for the resistance army that Matt was gathering and leading. Stella could be a valuable ally in that. He could have mentioned it as Daredevil, brought her first to one of those meetings, but it felt wrong after she's been so open with him.

She's told him about her powers, that she's effectively immortal. All he's done for her is shown his face and said that he's got okay senses.

So while he feels nervous and wary, he does show up outside Josie's wearing one of his blue law office suits, his glasses on and his cane out. His head tilts when he can sense her approach. He straightens up and smiles.]
