[He says it teasingly, nudging her foot back. Although he hasn't 'seen' her in his way, he realizes. She's felt his face, but he has yet to feel hers.]

It is, yeah. I didn't come to it as often this past year, but with everything going on in the city, I've picked back up coming here again.

It is a good crowd. They're good people.

[It simply had hurt too much to visit for a long time after Foggy died and Karen moved out of state. Like something was missing even when the place was packed and crowded. Now that Josie's is the homebase of the army he's building, Matt has been slowly getting reacclimated to the location and people he has genuinely missed. Josie's is one of the few places that feels like a part of home to him.

So, do you have a place like this by your university that you visit a lot?

Yeah, that makes sense. It was always awkward and a little cringy when running into a professor near the campus. You expect them to stay in their ivory towers, not having a pint.

You'll have to share this cocktail bar with me sometime. Bonus points if there's a piano there that can be played.
